We would like to introduce you to Tiege our Landscaping Assistant.
Tiege has vast experience in all aspects of gardening work, whether it is maintenance, landscaping or, his favourite, tree work. Tiege studied at Sparsholt College and has multiple qualifications and certificates in Forestry Management, chainsaw use and heaps more! He is at his happiest when he has a chainsaw in his hand, but actually very rarely anything but happy!
Tiege’s favourite season is summer.
His favourite plant/tree is the Knightwood Oak which is thought to be up to 600 years old and located in the New Forest.
The favourite part of Tiege’s job is tree work, in particular creating stump sculptures.
Together as the Landscaping crew, Tiege and Chris are out there laying patios, creating decking, turfing lawns, installing fences or laying artificial lawns or block paving. As they both have a keen interest in plant/tree based work, they are very often found clearing borders, hedge-trimming, minor tree work or soft landscaping projects. This team turn our customers idea’s into reality all with a high degree of professionalism and a smile.
Todays introduction is to Chris our Chief Landscaper. Our Chief Landscaper with a difference, Chris loves gardening and really knows his stuff when it comes to plants, trees and shrubs as well as patios, decking. fencing and more.
Chris has a degree in Landscape Management and has worldwide experience in Botanic gardens and an Arboretum. He has also run his own gardening and landscaping business for several years.
Chris’ favourite season is Spring.
His favourite plant is an Agapanthus.
Favourite part of Chris’ job is to present the finished result to the customer.
Chris is usually teamed up with Tiege creating our customers dream gardens. Whether it is a mini-makeover, a quick repair or a total re-design this team mean business! Highly qualified in all aspects of gardening and landscaping, these guys can build sound structures with ease and give gardens a total makeover. Fencing, turfing, patios, decking, soft landscaping, planting designs as well as re-shaping shrubs and minor tree work.
Today's introduction is to Gavin our Team Leader of the Maintenance crew. With nearly 10 years experience of gardening from Estate gardening to contract grounds maintenance. Super hard-working, he knows our customers gardens and their seasonal traits.
Gavin’s favourite season is Summer (for topping up his tan!).
His favourite plants are Acers.
His favourite part of his job is hedge-cutting.
Gavin is usually teamed up with Dan N as the ultimate Maintenance Crew. They know our customers gardens inside out, ensuring a high level of presentation on each and every visit. Lawns, Borders, Weeding, Hedges….they’ve got it covered. Whether they visit a garden weekly, fortnightly, monthly or occasionally, they know what that garden needs to look amazing, time and time again!
Introducing to you day-by-day our teams. Today we are starting with Dan Prince – Chief Gardenite.Dan has over 22 years experience of gardening and is the driving force behind Crown Gardens. He’ll be seen on quotes and between him and the customer, is the inspiration behind most of the work that we do.
Dan’s favourite season is Spring.
His favourite flowers are Geraniums.
His favourite part of his job is tidying up for the final result, ensuring maximum impact from the customers eyes.
Dan works with Charlie as our Special Projects team. They are out there re-shaping and rejuvenating your gardens, most of what they do is half day to 3 day projects, where technical plant knowledge is required and some soft landscaping included. It could be the yearly trimming of shrubs or hedges, or a clear-out of an overgrown border, maybe a corner that you don’t know what to do with. Full of inspiration and passion for not just instant impact, but what future seasons will bring to your garden.
